Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and supervise a cohort of interns ages 14โ€“21, supporting engagement, career readiness, and professional development.
  • Prepare interns for employer placements, conduct weekly worksite visits, and maintain communication with employer partners.
  • Coach interns through challenges and maintain regular communication with parents, guardians, and community partners.
  • Oversee time collection, submit bi-weekly timesheets, and maintain accurate records and program data.
  • Model workplace professionalism and support interns in identifying career interests and goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Education, Social/Behavioral Sciences, Counseling, or a related field, plus at least one year of experience working with youth, workforce development, education, mentoring, or community-based programs; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Work is performed across training partner sites, community locations, and employer worksites, facilitating groups of up to 25 participants with occasional large-scale events of 300โ€“1,000 interns.
  • Schedules may vary based on program needs, including morning and afternoon sessions.
  • Role requires prolonged standing, regular movement throughout worksites, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and perform computer-based tasks for documentation and reporting.
